Sandra Yemm designs unique jewellery using fine wire crocheting and needle weaving techniques learned from her grandmother.
Sandra is inspired by her love of antiquities and nature’s panorama. She thus adorns her pieces with elements 'from the earth' – timeless pearls, gemstones and crystals. Elegance of a bygone era can be experienced when wearing Sandra’s wrist cuffs made on her Peruvian handloom. Unique, indeed, are Grandma’s old buttons which Sandra fashions into treasured neck and wrist pieces.
Sandra’s work has been sold or exhibited through fundraising events, artisan stores, handmade art festivals, and galleries including the Grimsby Art Gallery, Niagara-on-the-Lake Art Gallery, and the Dundas Valley School of Art.
