Toni Major - Textile artist
TEXTURES MEMBER SINCE 2015
Inspired by natural settings, Toni creates texture and colour using hand-dyed and commercial fabrics and materials, adding paints and stitching by hand and machine.
As a member of Studio Art Quilts Associates (SAQA), an international organization, she regularly submits work and is honoured to have a juried art quilt in the permanent collection at the National Quilt Museum in Kentucky.
Her participation in local and regional SAQA groups as well as international conferences spurns her creativity as there is always something new to learn.
Toni’s work has travelled throughout Canada, Europe, and the USA.
