Become a Member of Textures Craftworks
All work must be designed and handcrafted by the artist or artisan. All items must be for sale. Items made from commercial kits or patterns are not allowed.
Copyright laws must be adhered to in all work.
With a membership, you have the opportunity to exhibit and sell your work
in a trendy area of Hamilton. Artisans and their work are promoted regularly through Textures Craftworks social media (Website, Twitter, Face Book, Instgram, Pinterest, Blog).
Drop by the shop and get an application form. Fill out the application and provide samples of your work to be juried.
The jury looks for good design, originality, and quality workmanship. Then the committee decides if the works fit with the mix of items for sale in the store.
Duties of Members
Textures members are working members and responsible for working a set number of hours per month depending on the number of members in the collective. In addition to a small membership fee, the shop retains a small percentage of individual sales to maintain and manage the shop.
